LOL heyys again=]
I just dropped by to say hi :P
Urm.. I'm kinda happy today lahhs.
My jie just passed me a camera!
Whoosh! xD The first time I own a
Camera in my life LOL! It's very old
And shabby one, with dull silver
Color. But no matter how old it was,
Still better than just using handphone
To take right? And it's good enough I
Actually have a camera le, just like the
First time I own a Windows 98 computer.
Hehes. But unfortunately its batteries
Run out VERY fast. I have to buy
Rechargeable batteries to make up for
That. Haiz. That would cost me 20 bucks.
So expensive. But anyway, I'm not in
A need to use camera now, so I guess
When I have sufficient money then buy.
Well my jie wasn't becos of any occasion
Then gave me de. She went to her company's
Function today then luckily out of 100+
Staffs, she got a Wii but then exchange with
Someone for a Sony camera instead. Then
She passed me the old one luhhs. We have
A Wii at home already so no need have
Another one, though we considered selling
It cos Wii too boring lahhs..=P I prefer Xbox
Luhhs.. Got the Devil May Cry. Super fun
Lahhs. I played it at United Square outside
Challenger. Last thing is that I hoped my
Birthday presents for next year can be books
Lahhs xD I'm so into books luhhs. And books
Can be kept as memories, unlike food. Hehes.
I don't really like birthdays though, cos I'm
Growing older and older. That's scary to me.
Going into adulthood isn't too easy thing lehhs..
More responsibilities >.< I'd rather be a teenager..
Well I just found Richelle Mead Fansite-my favs ;D
I'll just post some links about Vampire Academy
And Twilight hehes. Soo loves Vampires' romance
Books lahhs. Hahas. Ok lahhs, I go le. Tata!

Another day just passed.. so quickly.
I shudder at the thought of starting
School so soon >.< The reasons?
1. A VERY IMPORTANT year
2. No time for slacking
3. Sacrifices of usual entertainment
4. No matter how boring studying
Brings, I must tolerate
5. Cnt go out and play with friends
6. Cnt talk much in class, must pay
More attentive
7. Cnt on computer so much
8. MUST LEARN to manage time well
9. MUST sleep early
10. STRESS will be my friend
And ya, now you know why I detest
Starting school so much. Grrr... if I
Don't comply with any of these...
My tombstone will drop in front of me.
Oh by the way, I'll stop posting those
Lovely poems you see here. I'm just
Scared I'm stepping into the copyrights
Boundary. So please understand :]
And I'll temporary stop posting until
Further notice. I think I'll probably start
Again when new year comes. But only
Post once per month. I'm afraid if I use
Any more computer it will break down
Eventually and there goes my D & T
Project which I must do research on.
Currently, I'm reading Twilight which I
Just bought it. I haven't get to the climax
Though. My adrenaline still hasn't there
Yet. But hopefully it will rise sooner as
Most of you do =) For now, I'm not posting
Any news or whatsoever. I'm out of ideas
Now and never read anymore newspapers.
I find them boring. Most are politics stuffs.
Goodnights <3 See you again soon. And...
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! =3

Just back from O level programs.
Great. It was fun afterall.
I met my friend at the program too.
Hahas! Coincidence lehs. Good of cos.
At least have someone talk to, not so
Boring. We didn't know each other was
Going either.The teachers were damn
Humorous and interesting lahs.. the
Group work was damn fun, we joked
Alot and talked lame stuffs.. aw.. how
I missed the days :P I spent my entire
Day there for few days. Their teaching
Methods are quite marvellous. All
Students enjoyed alot. Worth it.
Ok lah, enough of this. Im just abit
Excited. I hope I can get Twilight books
To read next year :] Everyone says it's
Popular and thrilling to read. Hmm..
I guess I have to try on them too =)
Well at least I won't be bored during
Silent-reading period right hahas.
I'm still reading Shadow Kiss though..
Not only I'm busy, I'm slowly reading
It. Cos I know the ending will be sad..
I only don't want get to there very
quickly. Mayb I'll cry, I don't know.
But the truth is I never cried when
reading books. LOl. Only movies and
songs.. This is something very rare.
I might be amused if I did cry. Hahas.
Afterall it's my first time I'm addicted
To books. If someone were to take away
From me, I think I wld strongly protest.
Cos I want To finish the ending. I've a
Kind of committment to reading books.
Certain books of cos. Some books are
Really like, oh man, I seem droop off
whenever I pick them up and read.
In that case, I'll just abandon them. =X
Don't say me heartless okays. Hahas!
Hey, I'm animal lover. Not all animals
though. I hate snakes particularly. Cos
it looks terribly as proud as a peacock.
Well, I just hate it. But I love all pets,
Regarding of which kind.
They are loyal, truthful and fun-loving.
Who says stray dogs and cats shldn't be fed?
They look kinda sympathetic to me. If not
For those kind people who feed them out
There, you will see carcasses on streets.
That's too sad. They are mostly abandoned
By people and for some, they have been
Ill-treated before. I once or twice fed a cat.
She used to be avoiding strangers. But in
The end she is open being with me. Hahas.
Perhaps it's cos of the wristband incident.
I once helped her to take off the wristband
That was handing around her neck tightly.
I'm not trying to show off some kind acts
Here lahs.. Just saying that those stray cats
And dogs are innocent. I hate people trying
To hurt them. I stood up for them a few times.
If there's a big group, I cn't help it. Luckily,
I've never seen any abusing of stray pets
Before. Or rather I wld never wish to.
Seriously, if you were my friend and you
Are a pet abuser, I'll rather not have you
As friend. Ohya, not only pets we must care
About. Wildlife animals too! Must protect
Them. I know we are young and unable to
Sort of prevent killings, but there's a way too.
You can choose not to buy those illegal stuffs
Made from animals' skins in foreign country.
I think if no foreigner is willing to buy, half
Of the killings might stop. Apart from those
Live stocks we eat usually, i think there is
NO NEED to kill anymore. I hate those who
Skin other animals alive like nothing, to the
Core. Extreme heartless and only wanting to
See the sufferings of others. That's why there
Are so many endangered species now. I cnt
Care less. Endangered species must be
Protected and saved so that future generations
Can experience their presence and value.
Yeah, I know. Today I talk a lot. Just bored
And wanted to blurt something out.

Happy? Spread around.
LONDON - HAPPINESS is infectious and can
'ripple' through social groups such as family and
friends - but work colleagues are apparently
immune to each other's moods, according to
a study published on Friday.
According to the study, geography can affect
happiness: if you have a friend who becomes
happy and lives within a mile (1.6 km), it will
increase your likelihood of being happy by
25 per cent. They found that live-in partners
who become happy increase the likelihood of
their partner being happy by 8 per cent; happy
siblings living nearby boost joy levels by 14 per
cent, and neighbours by 34 per cent.
'Work colleagues did not affect happiness levels,
suggesting that social context may curtail the
spread of emotional states,' said the study.
In an editorial accompanying the study, Professor
Andrew Steptoe of University College, London and
Professor Ana Diez Roux of the University of
Michigan School of Public Health, called it
'groundbreaking'.
'If happiness is indeed transmitted through social
connections, it could indirectly contribute to the
social transmission of health, and has serious
implications for the design of policies and
interventions,' they said.
The study was based on research involving 5,124
adults aged 21-70, followed between 1971 and 2003.
To assess happiness they were asked to agree or
disagree with four statements: 'I felt hopeful about
the future', 'I was happy', 'I enjoyed life', 'I felt that I
was just as good as other people'.
#16 Never Again Would Birds Song Be the Same
by Robert Frost (all credits go to the author)
He would declare and could himself believe
That the birds there in all the garden round
From having heard the daylong voice of Eve
Had added to their own an oversound,
Her tone of meaning but without the words.
Admittedly an qloquence so soft
Could only have had an influence on birds
When call or laughter carried it aloft.
Be that as may be, she was in their song.
Moreover her voice upon their voices crossed
Had now persisted it never would be lost.
Never again would bird's song be the same.
And to do that to birds was why she came.
#17 She Was a Phantom of Delight
by William Wordsworth (all credits go to the author)
She was a Phantom of delight.
When first she gleamed upon my sight;
A lovely Apparition, sent
To be a moment's ornament;
Her eyes as stars of Twilight fair;
Like Twilight's, too, her dusky hair;
But all things else about her drawn
From May-time and the cheerful Dawn;
A dancing Shape, an Image gay,
To haunt, to startle, and way-lay.
I saw her upon nearer view,
A Spirit, yet a Woman too!
Her household motions light and free,
And steps of virgin-liberty;
A countenance in which did meet
Sweet records, promises as sweet;
A Creature not too bright or good
For human nature's daily food;
For transient sorrows, simple wiles,
Praise, blame, love, kisses, tears, and smiles.
And now I see with eye serene
The very pulse of the machine;
A Being breathing thoughtful breath,
A Traveler between life and death;
The reason firm, the temperate will,
Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill;
A perfect Woman, a nobly planned,
To warn, to comfort, and command;
And yet a Spirit still, and bright
With something of angelic sight.

fly into Singapore then buy :D Anyway,
I've got a new book to read. My friend
recommended me a book. Plotting is
quite nice though for me abit chim xP
Here's another synopsis of the book.
I've added one article that has recently
created uproar among the schools. It is
about a birthday girl from ACJC being tied
and had food stuffed into her mouth.
What'd you think? Humiliation or
celebration? To me, they are using
birthday as an excuse to bully her in
such a way. Pls poll behind whether you
approve such an act or not =]

ACJC Hazing: Student tied up and humiliated
First, it was a clip of an initiation rite for a new
Singapore Civil Defence Force recruit that raised
eyebrows last week. He was stripped, tied and had
black shoe polish smeared over him.
And now, a clip of a birthday girl from elite school
Anglo Chinese Junior College (ACJC) who was tied
and had food stuffed into her face has made its way
online and turned people's attention to ragging
again.
''It's too extreme. Maybe she's not well-liked and
(the prank) was a way to bully her.'' said JC student
Tay, 17.
Dr Simon Siew, a consultant psychiatrist from
Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, said ''the prank
was carried out at the expense of someone's self-
esteem and dignity''.
''The girl might have bad memories and nightmares
of the incident,'' he added.

Marley & Me
by john grogan
Synopsis:
John and Jenny were young and deeply in love,
with a perfect little house and not a care in the
world. Then they brought home Marley, a wiggly
yellow furball of a puppy. Life would never be
the same.
Marley quickly grew into an uncontrollable
ninety-seven pound steamroller of a Labrador
retriever. Expelled from obedience school, even
the tranquillisers prescribed by the vet couldn't
stop him.
Yet through the chaos and the hilarity he won
hearts and remained a steadfast model of
devotion to his family, even when they were
at their wits' end. Unconditional love, they would
learn, comes in many forms.
Praise for Marley & me:
The reason Marley & Me has proved to be a
bestseller is that it is not just a funny dog story...
it's also an honest and raw account of a young
couple's desire to have children, their fears they
won't be able to do the right thing by the family
they created. It's a universal story of family life,
and a publishing sensation.

# 13 To Citriodora
by William Shakespeare (all credits go to the author)
I turn and see you passing in the street
When you are not. I take another way,
Lest missing you the fragrance of the day
Exhale, and I know not that it is sweet.
And marking you I follow, and when we meet
Love laughs to see how sudden I am gay;
Sweetens the air with fragrance like a spray
If sweet verbena, and bids my heart to beat.
Love laughs; and girls that take you by the hand,
Know that a sweet thing has befallen them;
And women give their hearts into your heart.
There is, I think, no man in all the land
But would be glad to touch your garment's hem
And I, I love you with a love apart.
#14 Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?
by William Shakespeare (all credits go to the author)
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
#15 I Want to Die While You Love Me
by Georgia Douglas Johnson (all credits go to the author)
I want to die while you love me,
While yet you hold me fair,
While laughter lies upon my lips
And lights are in my hair.
I want to die while you love me
And bear to that still bed
Yours kisses turbulent, unspent
To warm me when I'm dead.
I want to die while you love me
Oh, who would care to live
Till love has nothing more to ask
And nothing more to give?
I want to die while you love me
And never, never see
The glory of this perfect day
Grow dim or cease to be!

(1)Net Socialising is not a bad thing after all: Study
New York- Good news for worries parents: All
those hours their teenagers spend socialising on
the Internet are not a bad thing, according to a new
study in the United States.
It may look as though kids are wasting a lot of time
hanging out with new media, whether it's on
MySpace or sending instant messages,'' said
Ms Mizuko Ito, lead researcher on the study,
Living and Learning With New Media.
''But their participation is giving them the
technological skills and literacy they need to
succeed in the contemporary world. They're
learning how to get along with others, how to manage
a public identity, how to create a home page,''
she said.
''Those concerns about predators and stranger
danger have been overblown,'' she said. ''There's
been some confusion about what their kids are
actually doing online. Mostly, they're socialising
with friends, people they've met at school or
camp or sports.''
While online socialising is ubiquitous, many young
people move on to a period of exploration online,
looking for information or experimenting with
digital media production, the study found.
(2)Want a camera that produce cool 3D images?
COME August or September next year, your
wish might just come true. Fujifilm has developed
what it calls the FinePix Real 3D system that will
give the world's first consumer three-dimensional
digital camera.
The camera is able to take both 3D and 2D images
and videos. A press of a button lets you view the
2D and 3D versions of the same image or video.
The biggest potential of the dual-lens system of
the 3D camera is in 2D photos. E.g you can shoot
simultaneous telephoto and wide-angel images,
and ultra-wide panoramas in real time. Or, you
can shoot video and still pictures with different
exposure settings at the same time.
#10 Neutral Tones
by Thomas Hardy (all credits go to the author)
We stood by a pond that winter day,
And the sun was white, as though chidden of God,
And a few leaves lay on the starving sod;
They had fallen from an arsh, and were gray.
Your eyes on me were as eyes that rove
Over tedious riddles of years ago;
And some words played between us to and fro
On which lost the more by our love.
The smile on your mouthwas the deadest thing
Alive enough to have strength to die;
And a grin of bitterness swept thereby
Like an ominous bird a-wing...
Since then, keen lessons that love deceives,
And wrings with wrong, have shaped to me
Your face, and the God-curst sun, and a tree,
And a pond edged with grayish leaves.
#11 Heart! We Will Forget Him
by Emily Dickinson (all credits go to the author)
Heart! We will forget him!
You and I - tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave -
I will forget the light!
When you have done, pray tell me
That I may straight begin!
Haste! lest while you're lagging
I remember him!
#12 Time does not bring relief
by Edna St. Vincent Millay (all credits go to the author)
Time does not bring relief, you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughs abide.
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go, - so with his memory they brim.
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his foot or shone his face
I say, ''There is no memory of him here!''
And so stand stricken, so remembering him.
